Extra activity.

On this entrance I'm showing you one extra activity that my group and I did with the application Kahoot. Like all the previous activities that I have presented, it's about family members and the book "My wonderful family".
I consider that Kahoot is a really enjoyable application that can increase students' motivation during the lesson.

Reflection: Part 2

On this entrance you will be able to read a brief reflection about the second part of the subject. I'm going to do it following some questions to make it easier to read it and make it.

-WHAT DID I KNOW ABOUT WHAT WE HAVE DONE?

I knew how to use properly some applications like moviemaker due to the fact that I used it on high school and I have been using it after each holiday abroad, (I like making a video of each trip mixing music, pictures and videos). Moreover, I also knew the many options that Power Point has.
On the other hand, I was able to subtitle videos but using youtube, I didn't know applications like dotsub.

Edmodo.

Edmodo is a website that allows you to do (as a teacher) many different and interesting things for your students, in fact, It lets you upload different documents (ppt, word, PDF...) in your personal library and make assignments and quizzes for your students.
One really interesting thing about edmodo is that you can select a final date for your students to upload their answers to the assignments.

Podcast activity.

If you click HERE, you will access to my Podcast activity. I did it with the online application podomatic, and it is related to the unit that my group and I have been working on: family members.

Excel.

On the following entrance I'm attaching an excel table that I did using several tools that excel offers: colours, letter size, operations etc. It reflects the marks that different students have in one subject.

Final PLE.

If you click HERE you will be able enter to the application Symbaloo, that is the app where I have made my PLE. As you can see, there is a big difference between the first and this one due to the fact that this PLE is organised on different folders and each of them contains a variety of applications. Moreover, I have changed the size and the background and some other details such as emojis, colours...

Reflection: Part 1.

    On this entrance, I'm going to share with you a reflection that I have done about the first part of the subject.
 
 
-WHAT DID I KNOW ABOUT WHAT WE HAVE DONE?

Before we started with this class, I knew how to use some applications that are useful for teachers such as blogster or wikispaces because I used them some years ago in school and university. Moreover, I had some knowledge on solving problems related to settings or internet, I could create and modify content with some simple applications like moviemaker and finally I was able to communicate through some applications such as whatsapp, instagram, snapchat...
I knew some other applications like quizlet or kahoot but I didn’t really know how to use them properly.
 

Digital story.

On this entrance you will see a digital story that my group and I have created. This book talks about a diverse family through the perspective of a little kid.
I find storyjumper really interesting and useful for my future as a teacher due to the fact that you can create personalised books depending on the unit you want to work on.

• ACTIVITY 1: It's a gap-fill exercise that consist of filling a text that comes from the book: "My wonderful family"; a book that we will teach students at the beginning of the unit.

My name is Amaia, and I'm creating this blog for the ICT subject that I'm coursing in the Public University of Pamplona.

Here, you will be able to see some activities that we have created working with some tools that are new for us.
